It was all fate, but fate came in the form of Eric who set the couple up on a blind date. Reluctantly Jackie (Affectionately known sometimes as Jack) and Dan agreed to meet for coffee. We all know it is so much easier to run away from bad coffee dates. Within weeks, the one coffee date turned into many mini dates, followed by longer dates, to spending almost all of their free time together. Jackie was quickly falling for Dan. Within 3 months there was no question, they planned on spending the rest of their lives together. The entire Hamilton House property was basked in New England sun. It was the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding on a historic property. The two rooms where either side of the bridal party were getting ready couldn't have been a more stark contrast. The girls were "Ohhing" and "Ahhing" as the red sash was worn and the bridal hairpiece were being fitted. The boys were goofing around, drinking beers, and yes even praying. Even the ceremony was laid back and personalized. Guests who had a few kind words about the couple were asked to share them. Talk about a positive twist to "Speak now or forever hold your peace". The couple even planed a tree as a symbol of their love growing with time. (Hope someone was watering their love during the honeymoon!) The dance floor was opened up with a serenade to the couple from all five of Jackie's siblings and commenced with an after party in a barn.
Fate introduced them, and fate married them. Literally. Eric officiated the ceremony. Only fitting that the man who brought them together also bound them together for the rest of their lives.Wedding + Reception: Hamilton House Catering: Mizuna Catering Dress: Ms. Diana's Fancy Frocks - (603) 926-1521 Flowers: Heron Pond Farm Hair: Danica Carlson Hairpiece: Joi Smith Makeup: Gennie Grady, www.genniegrady.com Video: Shoe Slung Films, www.shoeslungfilms.com DJ: 2 Clapps DJ Service - www.2ClappsDJ.com Photography: Nami Dadlani Photography
