When Valeria and I sat down to plan out her post wedding session we decided to do an Alice in Wonderland themed shoot (because as it turns out Valeria loved the idea even more than I did - who knew that was possible??) We wanted to style the session around the sculptures done by Claude and Francois-Xavier Lalanne (my new favorite contemporary artist) that was I discovered at the Fairchild Tropical Gardens while attending the Chocolate Festival. Unfortunately, Murphy had other plans. The installation was taken down two weeks early and sent back to all the private collectors and museums. Good thing I work well under pressure!! We decided that even without the sculptures the lush landscape was the perfect location. With some cute and fun accessories picked out by the oh-so stylish Mrs. Flores we had a blast creating these amazing images. A special thanks goes out to the staff at the gardens for being so helpful and accommodating. I can't stop raving at just how wonderful they were to work with.
Expect to see me stalking the amazing husband and wife sculpture's artwork throughout the world. If you haven't seen the whimsical and sensual sculptures, look it up. I promise, it will blow you away!Location: Fairchild Tropical Gardens Designer : Demetrios Company: Alegria's Bridal Flowers: A Blooming Touch Hair and Make-up: Rik Rak Salon Stylist: Ethian
